AbstractThe author reflects on ethics education and academic misconduct. She considered scientific productivity as one of the most significant requirements for social and economic development of a country. She noted that academic careers promotion rests firmly on contributions to scholarly productivity since universities are ranked by many indicators of academic and research performance. For her, the reason why misconduct in academic life is an ongoing and increasing problem is thought provoking.
