AbstractAn assistant professor of genetics, Thomas is working on a project looking at colon cancer tissues specimens. One afternoon, Thomas approaches a senior colleague, Dev, to advise him on some of his research. Dev gives hims some helpful advice and shares his lab equipment and supplies. A year later, Dev is on his department's Tenure committee and sees that Thomas is coming up for a promotion to associate professor. As Dev looks through Thomas's dossier, he ses that T homas has published a number of articles about his genetic analysis of colon cancer and has listed Dev as a co-author on one of these papers. What should Dev do?
