About

Geoff Holtzman wants to know what philosophical and moral beliefs are, why we have them and hold them so vehemently, and how they relate to the external world and to personal experiences. Prior to coming to IIT, Dr. Holtzman completed his Ph.D. in Philosophy at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. While pursuing his degree in New York, he also worked in a social cognitive affective neuroscience lab for three years, and before that he performed stand-up comedy for three years, once performing on a show where Louis C.K. dropped in and did a guest spot.
