AbstractDuring a primary campaign for the state Senate, a candidate sends out a glossy campaign brochure featuring a photo where the candidate seems to be sitting in the state Governor's office. The current Governor denies ever allowing the candidate use of his office, and the candidate denies that the photo was altered in any way. The candidate states that the issue about the photo is just a smokescreen by her opponent to divert attention from the real issues facing the state.
