| Abstract | This article discusses some recent incidents of plagiarism reported in the Chronicle of Higher Education and discusses what individual professors can do to reduce the amount of plagiarism going on in their classes. The author describes his own approach in his classes. This includes including your policy in your syllabus, talk about plagiarism candidly the first day of class, and designing assignments and test to be less easy to cheat on. |
