Abstract

This article describes a project to develop learning modules for the teaching of applied ethics into communications classes. The author describes how she developed this type of module for the course Intercultural Communications. The author describes the format of the course, introduces a scenario used to get the students talking about ethical issues involved in intercultural communication, such as stereotypes and social roles, and the development of three further modules to be used throughout the semester long course.
