AbstractThis report presents an analysis of the content of institutional policies for responding to allegations of scientific misconduct conducted for the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Research Integrity (ORI). The report highlights policy best practices and reviews the various methods included in the policies for addressing the issues involved in responding to allegations of scientific misconduct. The results of this study will be used by ORI to assist institutions in making their scientific misconduct policies more efficient and effective.
