Abstract

Fashionforward! is an online auction site where those who have more style than money can bid on designer apparel. For a marketing campaign, Carly LeBlanc, a student intern at the company, promised a number of sororities that she would give all their members free Fashionforward! t-shirts with the name of the sorority on it. When ordering these t-shirts, LeBlanc had the choice of ordering shirts from a low-cost company in China or from a fair-trade company in San Francisco, who provides safe conditions and higher wages for their workers. Who should she order from?
