AbstractDiscusses the results of a major survey of universities and researchers in the area of applied ethics to develop a strategy for applied ethics research in Canada. The author discusses activities currently underway in the areas of business and professional ethics. Almost twice as many courses are being taught in bioethics, and business and professional ethics as in areas such as environmental ethics, ethics consulting was found to still be in an embryonic state, and one of the primary aims of research is the development of curriculum materials and case studies.
