| Abstract | Rob Smith receives a call from an old classmate of his who asks him his opinion of an engineer his company wants to hire Ted Ackley, an engineer who Rob had been on a conference panel with, and briefly worked on a paper with. Rob gives his favorable opinion of the engineer and the call ends. Two days later however, he hears a number of negative things from some old colleagues of Ted. Rob wonders if he should say anything to the company who is looking to hire Ted. |
