Abstract

When Jim Grimaldi, projects manager in the Sunnyvale divison of Universal Corporation learns that in two weeks headquarters is sending him an project engineering, Joan Dreer who will be supervising groups of engineers working in automotive brake design, he is apprehensive. The male engineers in his department inform him that they don't like the idea of a woman supervising their work.
