AbstractMany employers in the United States require, as a condition of being hired, that prospective employees sighn contract in which they agree to arbitrate any disputes with the employer that might arise in the course of employment. By signing such an agreement, a person agrees not to bring any action against the employer in a court law, including if she believes her employer has violated her legal rights.
