| Abstract | When the police find the body of a dead newborn, subpoenas were issued to local hospitals and clinics for the records of all women who tested positive for pregnancy between a two month period, so these women could have DNA tests run to see if they could find the mother of the child. Planned Parenthood refused to release the records of their patients, citing the confidentiality of medical records. |
