Abstract

The article discusses the utility of Certificate of Confidentiality for the safety of private data gathered by researchers from patients. Institutional Review Boards are said to be concerned bodies to ensure certifications amongst researchers. Investigators' responses on the certification which can be obtained from the National Institutes of Health and other units of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are also presented.
