Abstract

The article presents medical studies in maintaining the validity of informed consent during lengthy research protocol. A study reveals that the continuing validity of informed consent will depend on the participant's knowledge of the critical study information and highlights participant's education on the subject when their knowledge has been diminished. Another study discusses the elements and guidelines in determining relative values in meeting the criteria, and not as a rating scale.
