Abstract

The article offers information on the pilot program Benchside Ethics Consultation Service established by the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics in the U.S. The program aims to consider ethical issues involved in carrying out biomedical research by clinicians and scientists. It was found that the consultation services offer benefits to bioethicists and institutions as well as play essential roles in the provision of concrete research recommendations.
