Abstract

This case study explores the ethical dimensions news media coverage of the Dr. Whoo Suk Hwang scandal in South Korea. The authors seek to provide a new dimension to previous critizim of the press' handling of the Hwang scandal to show the challenge of universalizing ethical standards in international journalism criticism.
