| Abstract | The article offers the authors' insights on the value of critiques to engineering to help (ETH) programs. It notes that ETH programs have been placed within the engineering profession history of the U.S. They argue that it represents a shift on how engineers and educators re-frame their profession and education from the concept of service to helping. They are critical that development and cultural studies in engineering must serve as a guide in the future practice of students and educators. |
