AbstractThis project examined the effectiveness of a program in retaining women in science, mathematics, and engineering majors by providing them with a support and mentoring program. The study found that the program was successful when preparing the retention of women in the program to non-program students. The authors end by calling for more support programs or orientation courses directed toward women.
