Abstract

The article reports that women get less grant money for physics research than men. Roxanne Springer, vice chairwoman of the Committee on the Status of Women in Physics (CSWP) for the American Physical Society (APS) comments on funding for women in the field of nuclear theory. Nuclear chemist Sherry Yennello suggests women may ask for less money than men.
