AbstractA growing number of universities have recently started offering courses in the study of pornography. Though many of these classes show pornography to help students become aware of its impact on culture, gender, and society, critics claim that the college classroom is not the appropriate venue for this kind of material, and that it lends legitimacy to pornography.
