Abstract

The article focuses on the practice of evidence-based research ethics. It analyses the controversies of evidence-based medicine to serve as an analogy in the implementation of evidence-based research ethics. It paraphrases the definition of evidence-based research ethics provided by D.L. Sackett and colleagues as well as of J. Sugarman and colleagues. Moreover, it discusses the four categories of empirical bioethics by A. Kon as well as his framework on research ethics education.
