AbstractAlthough now an important aspect of medical education, teaching medical ethics presents challenges, including a perceived lack of value or relevance by students and a dearth of effective teaching methods for faculty. This article discusses the use of team-based learning (TBL) in a medical ethics course at the Chonnam National University Medical School in Korea, and provides an assessment of this approach's effectiveness.
