AbstractWhile doing a linguistic study, Professor M found out some remarkable ethnographic information about a group of Native Americans. The group told him out-right that the beliefs and practices are not the property of non-Native Americans and that the information Professor M has obtained cannot be published. Since there has been no ethnographic paper published about this group, it has been wrongly assumed that their culture is identical to that of a larger group with whom they have been associated.
