AbstractThis case study draws on the Politwoops case and brings up the question whether politicians’ statements on a publicly accessible platform should be treated their private conversations and permanently deleted if the author requires so. This situation is compared with ineffective deletion of non-politicians’ personal data. The key question is who and why should have the right to have data deleted from mixed private/public platforms.
