Clinical Research Ethics - Educational Resources This database is an excellent collection of educational materials on the responsible conduct of research for clinical research educators. It consists of a searchable online inventory of syllabuses, PowerPoint slides, videos, lecture notes, handouts, and links for use in education and training in the responsible conduct of research.

EthicsCORE Developed through a National Science Foundation grant, EthicsCORE is one of the largest and best repositories of materials on teaching research ethics available on the web.

EthicShare A research and collaboration website designed to help you do research, share, collaborate, and participate in the field of ethics. You will find a comprehensive collection of ethics resources including searchable research materials, group discussions, current news articles, and upcoming events.

ethicsweb It is the overall aim of ETHICSWEB to stimulate an enhanced democratic debate on ethical issues of science and to promote a more engaged and informed public. Therefore, existing information and documentation systems will be connected to allow and ensure an easy access to comprehensive information on science and ethics. At the same time sophisticated tools, both technical and semantic, will be applied or – if necessary developed – to make the huge amount of information available for all parties involved. ETHICSWEB will be a common, decentralized European access point for information that is made available in different European member states, by various regional providers and centres as well as by international organizations.

Human Rights Web Archive A searchable collection of archived copies of human rights websites created by non-governmental organizations, national human rights institutions, tribunals and individuals. Collecting began in 2008 and has been ongoing for active websites. New websites are added to the collection regularly.

Norwegian National Research Ethics Library The Research Ethics Library is an online resource for research ethics education. Our aim is for the library to serve as a resource, by providing introductions to the main issues in research ethics, and to encourage debate and reflection.

Project for Scholarly Integrity The Project for Scholarly Integrity, an initiative of the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS), seeks to advance the scope and quality of graduate education in the ethical and responsible conduct of research. The project has put together an excellent collection of resources on the responsible conduct of research and academic integrity that is searchable by format, subject, and by types of teaching tools.

Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research: PRIM&R This organization holds a number of webinars each year that focus on issues in medicine and research, and its website has an excellent collection of publications, historical cases and documents, and guidance documents. To access the majority of this material, you will have to create an account with the site.

Projects and Teaching Tools

EAC Toolkit A collection of teaching modules in the areas of business and engineering developed by faculty of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. Includes resources in English and Spanish.

International Dimensions of Ethics in Science and Engineering This project of Technology and Society Initiative at the University of Massachusetts Amherst has developed a series of cases for classroom and online use, as well as information for instructors on how to effectively use cases in university courses.
