AbstractWebGURU is an interactive web-based tool intended to assist undergraduates in navigating the hurdles of an undergraduate research experience. The web site includes practical tips on how to find a lab to work in, discusses issues of professionalism, research integrity, mentoring, and intellectual property, and also includes a link to "In the Lab" an online, interactive video case study that explores ethical issues in the responsible conduct of research. This is an excellent model for how a school can put together a helpful interface to teach students about research ethics and related issues.
