| Abstract | In order to highlight the the specificity of the professional responsibilities and ethics of engineers, or as someone acting in a uniquely engineering situation, the author discusses three historical cases that directly involve the actions of one engineer. The dedication of these engineers to their professional ethics illustrate a commitment to ethical behavior that is unique to engineering and instructive to engineering students. |
