| Abstract | This article introduces a method that engages students in self-generated discussions about scientifically recognized but philosophically complex terms such as 'disease' and 'health.' Through these discussions about these words, the students are confronted with the need to develop critical thinking skills without realizing that they are entering into overt philosophical argument. |
