Abstract

This study looks and the links between unprofessional behavior identified in medical students, and behaviors for which practicing physicians are sanctioned for by state medical boards. The study found that the majority of reports of unethical behavior in moth groups were related to lapses inprofessional responsibility and integrity, and the specific behaviors identified in the groups were similar. The authors conclude that because of the similarity of these behaviors, that it is reinforces the relevance of monitoring such behaviors in future physicians.
