AbstractSyllabus for the course, Professional Issues and Ethics in Mathematics, developed and taught in 2007 by Dr. James Franklin of the University of New South Wales. The goal of the course is to help students understand the relation their technical mathematical studies have to the way in which mathematics is used in the world outside the university. The syllabus includes the class schedule, and a detailed description of class assignments. This is an undergraduate level course.
