Missouri is a major provider of dogs for pet stores, and many farmers and ranchers see Proposition B as indicating a movement toward increasing control of agriculture beyond dog breeding. The Humane Society of America, however, believe that the regulations are long overdue, and represent minimum standards that good breeders will want to adopt for the welfare of their animals and business.</style>
<notes><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Case Study prepared for the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Regional Competitions, 2011
