The RSA role actualizes the ethical principles of respect for persons, justice, and beneficence that are the foundation of the protection of research participants. The results of the gathered interviews, reports from a conference, and other information reveal the regulatory, institutional, collegial, and personal resources and barriers that assist the RSA in the successful implementation of the RSA role. In addition, issues important to the RSAs are described. </style>
<doi><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">10.1080/08989620390250180</style></doi><issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">3</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Article</style></work-type><accession-num><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">11281333</style></accession-num><notes><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Neill, Kathleen M. 1,2; Email Address: neillk@georgetown.edu; Affiliations: 1: Fellow, Center for Clinical Bioethics; 2: Associate Professor, School of Nursing and Health Studies Georgetown University Washington, D.C., USA; Issue Info: Jul2003, Vol. 10 Issue 3, p159; Thesaurus Term: JOB creation; Thesaurus Term: RESEARCH institutes; Thesaurus Term: FEDERAL regulation; Thesaurus Term: ASSOCIATIONS, institutions, etc.; Author-Supplied Keyword: human subject experimentation, institutional review board, research subject advocate, qualitative analysis, protection of human research participants, General Clinical Research Center.; Number of Pages: 16p; Document Type: Article</style></notes></record></records></xml>
