Incentives and barriers for implementation of the curriculum are addressed. A team-based design project with a problem-based learning approach is highlighted. The initial results of stakeholder evaluations suggested that multidisciplinary skills developed during the learning process might contribute significantly to pertinent knowledge on sustainability. </style>
<doi><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">10.1061/(asce)1052-3928(2007)133:3(188)</style></doi><issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">3</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Article</style></work-type><accession-num><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">25448621</style></accession-num><notes><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Chau, K.
