The authors look at the presence of the phrase &quot;conflicts of interest&quot; in the journal Science over the past century to show how three different meanings have emerged, and how the changes in meaning are closely linked with the changing structure of the relations between the scientific community with the State and with industry.</style></abstract><doi><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">10.1007/s11948-008-9063-8</style></doi><issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">3</style></issue></record></records></xml>
