| Abstract | With the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction being manufactured from benign objects, the author of this article calls for additions to be made to existing codes and standards to make clear what objects are designed and not designed for. In the absences of specific design guidance, professionals with appropriate expertise can assess potential for "evil intent" and provide recommendations to design out or warn against this potential harm to public safety. |
