AbstractThe article analysis the importance of ethics training and development in the military, based on a workshop titled "Ethics Training and Development in the Military," held at the University of Hull in Great Britain, in 2006. The establishment of formal training programs for ethics in the military is discussed, as well as the development of several virtues the programs, which may provide a basis for a universal military code or ethic.
