Abstract

This report describes a project at Utah Valley State College to implement an Ethics Across the Curriculum at this university. The program began with recruiting faculty to participate in the program, and a two-week seminar to help faculty become comfortable with teaching ethics, and helping instructors rewrite their syllabi to include ethics instruction. The report also summarizes the evaluation methods used to assess the sucessfulness of the program, including the Defining Issues Test (DIT), the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) and the Critical Thinking Test (CIT).
