AbstractThe article presents the case of an engineer who was working with three Ecuadorian illegal immigrants on a project to build a storage tank and pipelines to connect watery system for the town of Lliria near Valencia, Spain. He found out that the workers have no medical insurance and proper type of worker's compensation. Showing his concern for the workers, he made a proposal to his boss to legalize them and implement additional safety measures. However, the boss said to forget the situation.
