AbstractThis essay discusses a number of ethical issues in engineering faced by Puerto Rican Engineers that were raised in a series of workshops and retreats. The article discusses three cases that were developed and discussed in these workshops that oulines how engineering ethics has moved beyond the compliance perspective of the professional association, Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico.
