The American Alliance of Museums offers literature on the significance and the development of an institutional code of ethics, and outlines core elements of the code with special attention to museum management practices. 

The Association of Corporate Counsel provides information on drafting and implementing a global code of conduct

 The Center for Applied Philosophy and Public Affairs provides a number of examples that organizations can use in their code of ethics, including the descriptions of ethics and morality, the different kinds of codes, and even a process for developing a code of ethics that will include all organizational stakeholders.

 CSEP's newsletter, Perspectivesfeatured a Fall 1999 issue on Writing a Code of Ethics

 Ethos Education provides a concise guide on developing a code of ethics for primary and secondary schools.

 The Ethics Resource Center has a toolkit available for use. When used for commercial purposes, a nominal license fee is required.

 Creating A Code Of Ethics for Your Organization, with many suggested books, by Chris MacDonald

 The Deloitte Center for Corporate Governance offers a variety of resources for those who are active in governance, including a variety of resources and a set of suggested guidleines for writing a code of ethics or a code of conduct.

 Developing a Code of Conduct for a Corporate Board of Directors: A Roadmap by Frank Narvan.

 Green Plus is a business improvement program that offers a straightforward guide for small to medium businesses about writing codes of ethics.

 The International Federation of Accountants provides an in depth overview of developing codes of conduct that define key principles, such as good employee practices, guidelines on external conduct, and legal standards.

 Interpreting Your Code article by Cornelius von Baeyer, outlining principles and approaches for using a code of ethics within an organization, with the Canadian Council for International Co-operation as a case study

 Lighthouse Services provides a step-by-step guide to developing a code of conduct.

The Manitoba Child Care Program provides straightforward guidelines on writing and finishing your code of conduct for childcare providers.

 The Network for Business Innovation and Sustainability provides resources on creating a code of ethics, offers a 12-step guide for implementing codes of conduct and provides a generic outline to help generate codes.

 The Queensland Government Business and Industry Portal offers a four part guide with sections covering writing, implementing, and reviewing a code of conduct.

 Recommendations for Developing Codes of Conduct, sites from Virginia Tech

 Institute of Business Ethics based in the United Kingdom, has a codes of conduct page with a number of resources for developing a code of ethics for large and small businesses.

The Integrity Commission includes information on conducting research on your code of ethics as well as the implementation and the review of your code.

 International Business Ethics Review, newsletter of the International Business Ethics Institute, has published a Winter 2004 issue (Vol. 7, #1) with a special focus on "Organizational Codes of Ethics", with suggestions on creating an effective electronic code of conduct, as well as guidelines for non-profits, among other useful articles.
