| Abstract | Nanotechnology observers are split over the best way to ensure that the up-and-coming industry remains safe for both people and the environment On September 21, 2006, at a hearing of the U.S. House Science Committee, leaders of the Nanotechnology Environmental and Health Implications Work Group released a long-overdue report outlining research needed to buttress the regulation of products in this field. Nanotechnology experts stress that research funding in this area should be increased dramatically. |
