Occupational Risk Management of Engineered Nanoparticles

This article reviews a conceptual framework for managing the risks possibly associated with engineered nanoparticles in the workplace. The framework takes into account different possible routes of exposure, incorporates primary approaches based on the traditional industrial hygiene hierarchy of controls, and includes secondary approaches involving health surveillance and medical monitoring.
