| Abstract | Article gives an overview on the current level of knowledge of the potential toxicological effects of nanotechnology. While literature on this subject is limited, inhalational toxicity is to be expected based on what is known of the toxic effects of inhaled fine particle matter. Much more research is needed to discover the specific level of danger associated with toxic effects of nanotechnology for dermal exposure, airborne exposure and the effects of nanoproducts on fetal development and the environment. |
