UK Nanotechnologies Strategy: Small technologies, great opportunities

This strategic plan outlines the United Kingdom's strategy to help support development in the area of nanotechnologies both to help the UK economy and its consumers benifit from nanotechnologies, but also to acknowledge and address the implications for health, safety and environment that development in this field may raise. To do so, the UK Government will establish a Nanotechnologies Leadership Group to help coordiante efforts, maintain a portfolio of government and publicly funded research into the EHS implications of nanotechnologies, and enlarge the voluntary reporting scheme already in place to include products as well as materials.
