Abstract

This article describes some developments in the United Kingdom on how it plans to govern the use of nanomaterials in medicine. The United Kingdom's Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has recently stopped participating in the British Standards Institutes Nanotechnology Standardization Committee, a move that the Institute calls, "deeply troubling."
