Abstract

This report provides the findings of the international, qualitative and quantitative NanoCode survey about the European Code of Conduct for Responsible Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies Research. The results summarize insights into stakeholder's patterns of awareness, their expectations attitudes and appraisals. The study found that there is a broad general support of the NanoCode, but there was a very low rate of adoption by organizations. The report reviews this low level of compliance, and ideas for improving communication and incentives to adopt the NanoCode.
