NanoSafety Consortium for Carbon

This is the home web site of the NanoSafety Consortium for Carbon, which was formed by twelve leading companies involved in the commercialization of carbon nanomaterials and products to address the global, legal, regulatory, environmental, health and safety issues related to the responsible commercialization of their products. As of June 2010, the consortium has been in contact with the U.S. EPA about how to develop a mutually agreeable testing regime for a suite of representative carbon nanomaterials to fulfill the toxicity testing requirements of any TSCA consent order applicable to the consortium's members existing carbon nanomaterials.
