This report describes what is currently known and unknown about nanoscale particles of silver to help identify and prioritize scientific and technical information to support long term assessment efforts to determine any environmental risk factors associated with this particle's use in disinfectant sprays. The document includes a comprehensive environmental assessment framework which looks as this product life cycle, its exposure-dose characterization, and ecological and health affects associated with this product.
