| Abstract | The non-profit public health research organization Environmental Working Group released these comments in September 2010 on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's draft report, "Nanomaterial Case Study: Nanoscale Silver in Disinfectant Spray". Due to the lack of knowledge about the health and safety risks related to nanosilver, the group advises the EPA to require manufacturers of all novel nanomaterials to submit sufficient information to access their safety prior to releasing these products on the market. |
